The BCHS Community Members,

As we wind down to the end of the regular school year, we wind up to many wonderful end of year activities.  Our school will also be open for much of the summer for various summer programs (extended learning in June and End of Course exam remediation in July).

The Florida Department of Education is also beginning to release student assessment scores. Our school and individual students received 11th/12th grade reading and math FCAT retake scores last week.  Our juniors also began receiving their US History End of Course (EOC) exam scores on Friday, 5/17/13, from their respective teachers.  During the upcoming weeks we anticipate receiving the following scores (some may not be received until after the last day of school):

  • FCAT writing for 10th graders
  • FCAT reading for 9th and 10th graders
  • Algebra EOC exam scores
  • Biology EOC exam scores
  • Geometry EOC exam scores (students take this test starting on 5/20/13, so these scores will most likely be received last).

Summer School Opportunities: Students - if you plan to work on NovaNet our labs will only be open for two weeks this summer from June 10th through June 21st from 8am to 2pm daily. You need to see Ms. Harris in room 4-145 ASAP to get an ELP application and turn it back in to Ms. Harris in order to attend.
