General Announcements:

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .  Students can earn one-half elective credit for coming in to work with our teachers over the summer from 6/17 through 7/24 from 8am to 11am (Mondays through Thursdays).  The options for each grade level are:
    • Next year’s 9th graders – ½ credit in algebra prep skills or Algebra EOC prep skills
    • Current algebra students can take Algebra I EOC prep skills
    • Next year’s 10th graders – ½ credit in reading, writing, and critical thinking skills
    • Next year’s 11th or 12th graders – ½ credit in ACT/SAT prep skills
  • Seniors – in order to allow sufficient time for cap and gown orders to be processed and received here prior to the May 27th distribution date, we are asking that senior fees be paid on or before May 16th. They can be paid between the hours of 6:30 and 3 in our bookkeeping office by cash, check or money order. We do not accept credit cards. Please remember student obligations must be met prior to paying graduation fees
  • Students – you have until Friday, 4/25/14, at 5pm to submit your nomination for the Mayor’s Youth Showcase of Achievement.  The nomination application can be found on our website or you can call Tasco @ (727) 892-5060 for more information
  • The Pirate Hall of Fame Golf Tourney will be on May 10th at 1pm at Seminole Lakes Country Club.  Please contact Rex Gaugh (BCHS class of ’78) at This email address is being protected from spambots.   • Fifth grading term grades close – report cards distributed on 5/1/14
  • Track Regional Tournament - location to be determined
  • Baseball District Semifinals home vs. Gibbs HS or Lakewood HS @ 4pm

Thursday, 4/24/14:

  • International Thespian Society Induction Ceremony @ 7pm in the Main Auditorium

Friday, 4/25/14:

  • Baseball District Finals home @ 4pm (if we win on Wednesday)

Saturday, 4/26/14:

  • Boot Camp study session for FCAT, ACT, SAT, EOC, and AP assessments from 8am to 11am – check with your specific teacher(s) or visit our website for the list of teachers
  • JROTC Courage Mud Run
