Parents of The BCHS Students,

In an effort to improve system practices, BCHS is conducting a Parent Survey. The survey is through Advanced Ed. And is part of the Pinellas County Accreditation process.  We value your opinion and ask that you take the time to complete this survey. The survey is only 35 questions and it should take no longer than 5-10 minutes.  In order to complete the survey, please go to: http://www.advanc-ed.org/survey/public/9424890

Please be assured that your responses to this survey will be anonymous. Your honest opinion is appreciated. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Michael P. Vigue, Principal

  • Our after school extended learning program (ELP) is available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 2:15pm to 3:15pm in room 4-101.  You can pick up ELP registration forms in room 4-101, the guidance offices, Ms. Harris in 4-145, or Mr. Bernstein in 4-126.  Our ELP offers credit recovery, course tutoring, and PSAT, ACT, SAT, PERT, PSAT, FCAT, EOC, and ASVAB assessment preparation
  • The PSAT/NMSQT is being offered on Wednesday, October 15thJuniors wishing to sit for the PSAT need to register in advance and pay a $15.00 testing fee.  Please see Mrs. Love in the CWMP office between September 8th and September 24th in order that a test may be ordered for you.  Juniors taking the PSAT/NMSQT may qualify to enter competitions for scholarships or recognition programs.   All 9th and 10th graders have been pre-registered and are not required to pay a fee.  Students benefit from taking the PSAT/NMSQT as it measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills, & writing skills.  Students receive feedback on strengths and weaknesses on skills necessary for college study.  Sitting for the PSAT/NMSQT is a good way to become familiar with the kinds and questions one will see on the SAT.  Students may also receive information from colleges when they check “yes” to the Student Search Service.
