Rehab Ice BathCWMP (Center for Wellness & Medical Professions) students have practical experiences to supplement classroom instruction and enhance their medical volunteers experiences. Tier 1 - Technical

Program Eligibility Criteria:

  • 2.0 GPA or higher
  • Stanines of 4 or higher in reading and math on the FCAT Norm-Referenced Test or a total battery stanine of 4 or higher on a comparable standardized norm-referenced achievement test.

Students successfully completing the curriculum will be qualified to apply for employment in careers such as:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Medical Receptionist
  • Patient Care Assistant
  • Pharmacy Aide
  • Home Health Aide
  • Veterinary Aide

General Requirements

  • 2.0 GPA or better in all classes
  • Professional and respectful attitude
  • Good attendance and conduct
  • One medical class each year
  • 200 community service hours

Community Service Hours

Every CWMP student must earn 200 volunteer hours. 100 hours must be medically-related. The remaining hours may be earned in any other area of service. Hours must be documented and turned in to CWMP office each year for credit.
